The Kidnappers attacked a 70 -year old owner of a gasoline station and her secretary were freed Wednesday evening morning in Maguindanao.

Annie Datuwata Cuan, owner of Petron Gas Station, and Christabelle Jorolan were released in Datu Piang between 2 a.m. to 3 a.m., Senior Superintendent Roque Alcantara, provincial police chief, said.

The businesswoman and Jorolan were abducted by a group of armed men in Libungan, North Cotabato last week. The suspects escaped using a white van and headed towards the direction of Barangay Central Labas in Midsayap.

The getaway vehicle was later recovered by police.No ransom was paid for their release. Alcantara said the release was made “due to the pressure of local government units and law enforcers.

” The two were undergoing medical examinations, said Alcantara. Alcantara make sure that five suspects have been identified and were now being hunted down by the authorities.
