You want to know about Pnoy's declaration? About the Regular Holiday on October 26, 2012? This is how Pnoy stated his proclamation regarding Eidul Adha (Eid-ul-Adha) or the Feast of Sacrifice.

PNoy or President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino signed Proclamation No. 488 on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, declaring October 26, 2012 a regular holiday throughout the country.

The Eidul Adha (Eid-ul-Adha) or the Feast of Sacrifice for Filipino Muslims, which is one of the two greatest feasts of Islam.

 “Now, therefore, I, Benigno S. Aquino III, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, 26 October 2012, as a regular holiday throughout the country, in observance of Eidul Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).”

The proclamation further stated by Pnoy. The Republic Act No. 9849 provides that Eidul Adha shall be celebrated as a regular holiday. The date of the festival is based on the declaration made by Saudi Arabia‘s highest religious body.”
