"Meryl Streeps" daugther Mamie Gummer plays the role as "Emily Owens M.D. Series"

The returned of Mamie Gummer into television as another medical series after starring in the short-lived series "Off the Map".

Mamie Gummer, 29 years old daughter of actress Meryl Streep  She started acting at the age of 3,her first appearance in her mother features "The heartburn".

Mamie Gummer got serious about an acting career a decade later and appeared in "Hoax," followed by movies like "Stop-Loss" and "Taking Woodstock."

Her mother Meryl Streeps really supported and let that thrive in all of us," Gummer says. "I just really loved it and obviously grew up around it."

Mamie Gummer played the role as optimistic and adorable doctor in  the  series "Emily Owen M.D.,"  an argument with a young girl about who is a loser.

According to Mamie Gummer she played harder doing "Off the Map series before. Because shes  kinda cynical and sarcastic doing the role.

While The Series Emily Owens M.D is very hopeful,optimistic,lighter.and wear her heart on her sleeves. 

The character is very different says Mamie Gummer. "She kind of trips and falls down, but she gets back up and you want the best for her.".
